Is hypnosis dangerous? NO.
However, you must never use hypnosis while operating machinery, driving a car or doing anything which requires your full attention.

I don’t like the idea of having my mind being controlled !
Again, don’t worry. It won’t be. On the contrary, you will always remain in control, but the skill of the hypnotherapist is to work within your control and still bring about change at a deep level.

Has hypnosis any negative side effects? NO.
The only side effects from hypnosis are totally beneficial ones. Improved sleep states, relief of tension etc.

How many sessions do I need?
It varies from person to person, and of course the actual problem. On average two to six sessions.

Is it addictive or habit forming? In no way whatever.
You may practice hypnosis or not, it is entirely your own decision.

When I am in hypnosis am I unconscious? NO.
In the state of hypnosis you are not asleep or unconscious. Your conscious mind is deeply relaxed and aware of everything that is happening.

What does it feel like?
There is no such thing as a hypnotised feeling. Therefore most people think that they have not been hypnotised. The only sensation you get is of deep relaxation.

Who can be hypnotised?
Most people can achieve hypnosis providing they wish to be hypnotised. The only exception are people taking drugs or alcohol.
